Telefonica launches Wi-Fi repeater for fibre subscribers

Telefonica has announced the launch of a Wi-Fi repeater to boost the signal of Movistar customers subscribing to Fusion fibre-based offers. The device, dubbed, Videobridge Wifi+ Dual, will be available shortly to all customers in the Madrid area before being rolled out all over the country in February. Designed by Telefonica technicians, the repeater allows customers to connect decoders, games consoles and computers and boost the residential wireless signal to speeds of up to 300 Mbps so that they can view HD programmes without interruptions throughout the home.
