Telefonica Movistar adds most customers in Mexico

About 1.08 Mexicans signed up for telecom services in the first quarter, with Telefonica Movistar adding the most (760,400), followed by AT&T (529,000), while Telcel lost 202,000 customers, according to an analysis of consulting firm Mediatelecom Policy & Law based on the latest financial reports from the three major operators, reports Jornada. At the end of the quarter, there were 108.3 million mobile lines in operation, of which 83.3 percent pre-paid.
