Telefonica NEXT cooperates on mobile public transport study

Telefonica Germany's recently launched data analysis arm has partnered with data specialist Teralytics and research centre Fraunhofer Institute to conduct a study on public transport use. During the study, Telefonica Next provided aggregate mobile network data generated by customers in Stuttgart to allow an analysis of public transport usage in the city. The data was anonymised by a three-step process certified by the TUV.
