Telefonica Peru and Claro fined over PEN 1 mln for complaints breaches

Peruvian telecommunications services regulator Osiptel has fined Telefonica del Peru and Claro Peru (America Movil) a total of over PEN 1 million for failing to comply with court rulings ensuing from customer complaints about service quality issues. The watchdog fined Claro a total of PEN 622,500 and Telefonica PEN 413,340 for the breaches.
