Telefonica Peru launches mobile classroom project

Telefonica del Peru has announced the launch an educational project dubbed "Aula Movil" ("Mobile Classroom"), designed to reduce the digital divide in rural and marginal areas across the country. The mobile classroom kit encompasses a portable hotspot for up to 40 devices, a computer that functions as a network server, a multimedia projector, monitor, speakers and several other educational resources. The project, implemented by Fundacion Telefonica, is set to benefit over 25,000 students and 1,200 teachers in various regions across Peru.
