Telefonica picks 6 startups for Aragon retail-based acceleration

Telefonica's Open Future innovation platform has selected 6 startups for acceleration as part of a call launched in the northern Spanish region of Aragon in partnership with Zaragoza's Innovation in Retail Center (TZIR). The 6 startups were selected from 34 candidates and will begin a 10-month acceleration programme focusing on big data and retail on 10 May. The Aragon Open Future accelerator previously promoted the use of augmented reality, virtual reality and big data in shops, chain stores and shopping centres throughout Aragon.
