Monday 12 January 2015 | 10:30 CET | News
Telefonica has officially presented the Movistar cycling team for the 2015 season, having committed to continuing its sponsorship of the squad until 2016. Telefonica began sponsoring the team in the 2011 season and cyclists wearing the blue Movistar jersey have since won 116 titles, with Columbia's Nairo Quintana winning last year's Giro d'Italia and the team winning the ICU World Tour two years in a row. Video views on Movistar Team's premium Youtube channel have also been a success, achieving 1.7 million plays by the end of 2014, said Telefonica.
