Telefonica readying low-cost Tuenti convergent plan - report

Wednesday 3 May 2017 | 10:53 CET | News
Telefonica is preparing to launch a low-cost convergent offering via its Tuenti brand with a view to competing with the aggressive cost cutting of rivals such as MasMovil, reports Spanish business daily Expansion. A number of sub-EUR 40 a month offers will be launched this summer combining Tuenti's mobile plans with ADSL or fibre-based broadband from its parent company, said the report, without providing further details. The cheapest Movistar Fusion convergent plan available from Telefonica currently costs around EUR 55 a month, while the MasMovil group has convergent offers for around EUR 40
