Telefonica signs up Paralympic swimmer Perales as ambassador

Telefonica has announced that Spanish Paralympic swimmer Teresa Perales will be the ambassador of the company's foundation over the next two years. Perales is the most decorated Spanish Paralympian in history, having won a total of 22 Paralympic medals, six of them at the 2012 London games. Over the next two years, Perales will support the Telefonica Foundation's initiatives in support of social and cultural activities, educational innovation, employability and volunteering, starting with the Hackathon for Diversity due to take place in Madrid, Barcelona and Granada in October.
