Telefonica Slovakia reduces share capital

Telefonica Slovakia reduced its share capital by almost 57 percent, from EUR 240 million to EUR 103.2 million, based on the shareholders' meeting on 12 March. The reduced part will be used for compensation of accumulated losses from previous years. According to spokesperson Martina Jamrichova, this is purely an accounting operation with no impact on the activities and operation of Telefonica in the Slovak market.
