Telefonica Spain launches new voluntary retirement plan for corporate area workers

Telefonica has launched a new voluntary retirement plan for employees in its corporate division that have worked for the company at least 5 years, reports business daily El Economista. Under the terms of the plan, workers who have been in the company between 5 and 10 years will be paid 3 annuities over 5 years, while those who have served Telefonica for over 10 years will receive 5 fixed and variable annuities over 10 years. Unlike the company's recent individual departures plan (PSI) for workers aged over 53, there is no minimum age limit to sign up to this latest retirement deal, said the
