Telefonica suspends Atento IPO

Saturday 11 June 2011 | 06:57 CET | News
Telefonica has suspended the initial offering of shares of its call centre unit Atento. The decision is due to the adverse market conditions, the company said. Telefonica earlier cut the share price range and extended the subscription period for the IPO, but was apparently unable to attract enough investor demand for the listing. The offering was for 30.6 million shares, or 51 percent of Atento's outstanding stock.
