Telefonica to employ up to 5,000 'talents' in the EU by 2015

Telefonica will provide 5,000 scholarships under its 'Talentum Universities' programme over the next three years with a view to incorporating at least 90 percent of those chosen into its workforce and 'refreshing' its pool of talent. The company also announced that in the past year it had already given employment to 500 young professionals handpicked from ten of Spain's top universities.
