Telefonica to help EU set up ODInE open-data incubator

Telefonica has joined a consortium of seven organisations in setting up a new EU-wide network of open data startups called ODInE (Open Data Incubator for Europe). The 30-month incubator programme is modelled on the open data startup incubator run by the UK's Open Data Institute (ODI) and will be funded with a EUR 7.8 million grant from the EU's EUR 80 billion Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
