Telefonica upgrades 400G network for faster connections

Telefonica announced new tests of 400 Gbps tributary signals on its transmission network in Madrid in order to upgrade capacity and improve latency. The tests conduced with measurement company Exfo made a direct connection from the routers on its IP Fusion network to the optical network, doubling the current transmission speed.
