Telefonica wins Ferrovial communications service contract

Telefonica has announced a contract to provide communications services to Spanish infrastructure management and construction company Ferrovial over the next five years. Under the terms of the agreement, Ferrovial and Telefonica will work together to develop fixed and mobile technology, collaboration tools, new workplace services and specific cybersecurity and cyber-surveillance services. In addition to helping Ferrovial in its digital transformation strategy, Telefonica said the partners will also examine the scope for collaboration in the areas of Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart
