Telefonica's Wayra signs new startup investment deal with Zone2boost

Telefonica said its Wayra open innovation hub has signed an agreement with the Zone2boost initiative of CaixaBank, Global Payments, Worldline and Visa to jointly collaborate in the development of startups. Under the deal, Wayra and Zone2boost will jointly select startups for investment and act as partners of choice for the projects. The Telefonica Group will offer services and advice on connectivity, cloud computing and cybersecurity, while Zone2boost will help the chosen startups scale up quickly via resources such as the ability to approach large customer portfolios through large
