Telekom Austria partners Bsf for smart meter services

Telekom Austria announced a partnership with Bsf IT-Solutions to collect electricity data over smart meters. They will provide a turnkey system to energy distributors to collect the data using Telekom's M2M data services and Bsf's billing systems. Austria targets converting 95 percent of meters to 'smart' systems by the end of 2019.
