Telekom completes fibre-optic network in Hennigsdorf

Telekom Deutschland has completed the deployment of its fibre-optic broadband network in the north and middle areas in the city of Hennigsdorf in Brandenburg. Households in these areas can be served with fibre-optic connections direct to their homes, benefiting around 5,800 households in 550 buildings across the city. Telekom plans to start customer tests in Hennigsdorf from spring 2012 before the launch of three new internet, phone and TV tariffs from mid-2012.
