Telekom Deutschland Q4 sales down 0.5%, EBITDA grows

Thursday 2 March 2017 | 09:52 CET | News
Telekom Deutschland reported fourth-quarter revenues down 0.5 percent year-on-year to EUR 5.63 billion, while adjusted EBITDA rose 2.8 percent to EUR 2.15 billion. The company blamed the lower revenues on weaker handset sales and the decline in traditional single-play services, which was not completely offset by growth in broadband and multi-plays. Both fixed and mobile service revenues were down 0.3 percent year-on-year. EBITDA benefited from a 2.5 percent reduction in adjusted operating expenses.
