Telekom Romania gains approval for Dect services

Romania's telecommunications authority said it approved Telekom Romania Communications' request for continuing the provision of electronic communications services using DECT technology in 28 localities from Galati and Tulcea counties. The move comes after Ancom's announcement on starting the process of granting licences for the deployment and operation of DECT base stations in the 1880-1900 MHz band.
