Telekom Romania offers invoice discounts to compensate for service interruption

Telekom Romania is offering customers invoice discounts and additional prepaid credit to compensate for an interruption of service from 5 March. Further benefits for both residential and business customers were also promised by the operator. Telekom mobile customers encountered difficulties in making calls and using mobile data traffic on 5 March due to technical malfunctions in the mobile network. The network glitch was repaired during the evening of the same day, the operator said in a press release.

Postpaid customers will receive a discount equivalent to a subscription day on their first monthly invoice issued after 11 March. Prepaid customers will receive additional credit equivalent to the daily average consumption. The amount will be automatically charged on the card, starting from the 11 – 17 March week. Both the discount on the invoice and the additional credit will be automatically offered to customers.

In addition, starting from 2 April, all postpaid Telekom customers will receive national unlimited voice, SMS and data benefits, valid for 30 days from activation, which they will be able to activate at any time, until the end of 2018. Details regarding the activation of these benefits will be available on www.telekom.ro from 12 March. Business customers who have the 'Freedom' offer already with unlimited benefits get a free SIM with 2GB of free 4G/LTE traffic, active for 30 days, which they can request in Telekom shops until the end of 2018.
