Telekom says on track with European expansion of NB-IoT network

Deutsche Telekom said it is leading in the deployment of NarrowBand IoT (NB-IoT) in Europe as its plans to complete the rollout of its NB-IoT network in a number of European countries by the end of 2018, on schedule. The company has so far activated its NB-IoT network in nearly 600 towns and cities across Germany since the network was first launched in June 2017. Over 200 companies in Germany are experimenting with the technology via test packages, it said.
