Telekom sees data roaming deal with E-Plus as possible

Telekom Deutschland Niek Jan van Damme believes that a national data roaming agreement with smaller mobile network rival E-Plus is possible. In an interview with teltarif.de, Van Damme that E-Plus was also present at recent talks between Telekom, O2 Germany and Vodafone Germany about a joint LTE network deployment. He said the talks focused more on filling in so-called white spots, rather than focusing on a specific technology. He ruled out the possibility of a national voice roaming agreement with E-Plus as the latter already has its own national voice network, but said a data roaming
