Tuesday 3 December 2019 | 14:38 CET | News

Telekom Slovenije has stopped the distribution of premium sports channels Sport T 1, 2 and 3 due to “unreasonable financial conditions”, reports Sta. The programmes were taken off the air during the handball match of the Slovenian women's national team at the World Cup in Japan.

In a statement, Telekom Slovenije explained that the prices set by the TV rights provider “are harmful to both the company and its subscribers”, and that it does not want to increase the prices of its packages. It added that it will continue to negotiate on the matter in the future.
