Telekom Slovenije loses appeal over dominant position

Telekom Slovenije has lost a court appeal over a regulatory decision on its domiant market position. The competition watchdog ruled in November 2004 that Telekom Slovenije had abused its dominant position in the market for providing network access to rival ADSL providers in the period 2001-03. The competition office started its probe following a complaint from Medinet. Following the administrative court's rejection of its appeal, Telekom Slovenije said it will pursue an extraordinary judicial review against.
