Telekom Slovenije sale might fall through - report

Friday 27 March 2015 | 13:37 CET | News
Slovenian daily Dnevnik claims that the government is in for a rude awakening when it comes to the sale of Telekom Slovenije, as the EUR 1 billion expected from the sale is far from being realistic, because of a number of circumstances. The paper says that politics is mostly to blame for what seems to be another failed sale. The two only contenders, Deutsche Telekom and the Cinven fund, have both submitted fairly low bids, allegedly not even close to the EUR 160 per share mentioned by market analysts at the beginning of the privatisation process.
