Telenet chooses Benu Networks VSE platform for SOHO, SME services

Belgian operator Telenet has selected Benu Networks’ Virtual Service Edge (VSE) platform for the rapid delivery of tailored, managed service offerings for the small office/home office (SOHO) and SME enterprises. Telenet wants to provide services such as guest connectivity, device level visibility, and security at highly affordable rates.

The operator has launched a new Wi-Fi Business service that will become available in Belgium and Luxembourg and allow SOHOs/SMEs to easily set up multiple networks that are public for patrons and private for employees. The Benu Networks platform will support the launch of these and additional services going forward.

Benu Networks’ Virtual Service Edge (VSE) virtual software system runs on VMware network functions virtualization infrastructure (NFVI), and supports multiple services simultaneously. It can virtualize complex CPE network functions.
