Telenor Bank sale blocked by central bank

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has not granted prior approval to Bulgarian fund River Styx Capital to buy a majority stake in Telenor Bank, a NBS source told B92. NBS determined that the buyer does not meet the prescribed requirements set by Serbian regulations on the basis of submitted requests and documentation.
