Telenor Bulgaria revenues up 4% in Q1

Wednesday 6 May 2015 | 09:06 CET | News
Telenor Bulgaria saw its revenues in local currency increase by 4 percent driven by higher ARPU, and higher handset sales partly offset by lower subscription base. In NOK, its revenues increased to NOK 685 million compared to NOK 628 million a year ago. EBITDA in local currency grew by 2 percent. In NOK, EBITDA increased to NOK 253 million from NOK 238 million a year earlier. The number of subscriptions decreased by 87,000 in the quarter driven by high churn following SIM consolidation and continued intense competition throughout the quarter.
