Telenor Denmark expects AI, machine learning to cut annual CO2 emissions by 470 tonnes

Telenor Denmark said it is using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions and make its mobile network "greener". It said its AI project should cut the CO2 emissions of its Danish mobile network by another 470 tonnes per year. Smart masts will gather data to show how much they are used and at what time, enabling Telenor to cut electricity use.
