Telenor Hungary loses 13,000 subscribers in Q1

Telenor Hungary ended the first quarter of 2016 with revenues of NOK 1.12 billion, up on the NOK 1.09 billion registered in the same period in 2015. In local currency, revenue fell by 6 percent, due mainly to the cut in interconnection rates a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was unchanged at NOK 354 million and fell 7 percent in local currency. The number of subscriptions decreased by 13,000 in the quarter, mainly due to loss of pre-paid customers. The subscription base was 2 percent lower year-on-year. Monthly ARPU increased slightly to NOK 103 from NOK 102 a year ago, but was down by 6 percent in
