Telenor India sheds 700,000 mobile subscribers in Q4

Telenor India lost 0.7 million mobile subscriptions during the fourth quarter of 2016, for a total 44.2 million at end-December. At the end 2016, the subscriber base was 3 percent higher than at 31 December 2015. Telenor's India operations saw fourth-quarter total revenues of NOK 1.417 billion, down from NOK 1.436 billion a year ago.
