Telenor announced on 08 November that it has launched its 4G network in four municipalities in Montenegro, thus becoming the first operator to do so on the local market. People in Podgorica, Cetinje, Niksic and Bar are the first to experience a service up to six times faster than 3G. Telenor plans to expand the 4G network to other parts of Montenegro during 2013, when it will also offer the first 4G mobile phone.
