Telenor Montenegro & Serbia suffers drop in Q1 customers

Telenor said total revenues in Montenegro and Serbia in the first quarter of 2015 rose to NOK 853 million from NOK 811 million a year earlier. Revenues in local currency increased by 5 percent. Subscription and traffic revenues rose to NOK 572 million from NOK 569 million. Interconnect revenues grew to NOK 168 million from NOK 161 million a year earlier. Interconnect rates in Serbia were reduced from RSD 3.95 to RSD 3.43 on 01 January 2015. Excluding the interconnect changes, revenues increased by 3 percent, driven by higher subscription base, increased handset sales and transit revenues.
