Telenor Montenegro revenues hurt by termination rate cut

Telenor Montenegro reported revenues for the fourth quarter of EUR 14.8 million. Excluding the change in interconnect rates, revenues decreased by 5 percent compared to the fourth quarter in 2013. The operator retained the leading position on the market, with 369,000 customers, a 1 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2013. According to General Manager Michael Malvebo, the economic and regulatory environment in Montenegro continues to be challenging, with the telco market being further impacted by the decrease in termination rates.
