Telenor Myanmar suspends unregistered SIMs

Telenor Myanmar has announced that mobile services will be temporarily suspended for three months for SIMs that were not registered by the government-set deadline of 31 March. During this suspension period, customers with unregistered SIMs will not be able to access regular use of mobile services apart from receiving calls and SMS, and gaining access to Telenor's SIM registration website and My Telenor App. Customers may use these channels to then register their SIMs, at no data charges. Affected customers will be able to resume regular mobile services within one hour of submitting all
