Telenor Norway claims over 50 smart municipality clients

Telenor Norway said that more than 50 municipal councils have signed up to its 'Smart Kommune' digitisation and remote conferencing services. Most use new technology to support the provision of medical treatment and social services for the elderly, but some use smart systems to communicate with the public. Telenor said an earlier survey had found that nearly half of respondents thought their local councils should improve use of new technology, and almost 90 percent thought it could help with care for the elderly.
