Telenor Norway launches Valyou contactless payment app

Monday 3 November 2014 | 09:14 CET | News
Telenor Norway said the mobile contactless payment service Valyou has been launched, in cooperation with Norwegian bank DNB. Valyou is 42.5 percent owned by DNB, 42.5 percent by Telenor and 15 percent by SpareBank 1. It said 300 customers tested the service during the summer. Valyou was demonstrated on 31 October by the CEOs of DNB, SpareBank1 and Telenor, at the Deli De Luca convenience store at Oslo Central Station. The app works abroad, too, said Rune Bjerke, CEO of DNB.
