Telenor Norway protests at record fine after outage - report

Tuesday 19 May 2015 | 12:32 CET | News
Telenor Norway is protesting at a record fine imposed by industry regulator Nkom, according to an excerpt from InsideTelecom.no. The penalty follows widespread loss of mobile services on 30 October 2014 in connection with scheduled engineering works. Human error caused loss of service for 2.5 hours. In March, Nkom warned it could fine Telenor NOK 9 million, and gave the operator until 07 April to respond.
