Telenor Norway says 45% suffer handset loss, theft, damage

Telenor Norway says 45 percent of Norwegians have lost their phone or had it stolen or damaged at some point, according to a poll that it commissioned from the company Opinion. Telenor said 14 percent of respondents had their handsets insured, often through their home contents or travel insurance. It said 46 percent of respondents' phones had been smashed, 33 percent said their handset suffered water damage, 26 percent said theirs had been lost, and 25 percent had had their device stolen.
