Wednesday 23 December 2015 | 11:56 CET | News
Telenor Norway said sports clubs have collected more than 53,000 used mobile phones in 2015 as part of its recycling scheme. The sports clubs will share a return of NOK 1.6 million, it said. Since the project started in 2009, more than 600,000 old handsets have been recovered. This year's most diligent recyclers were at Sandefjord Sailing Association, which managed to collect 1,494 phones worth NOK 30 each to the organisation.
