Telenor Norway shuts down Harstad customer service centre, sheds 81 workers

Telenor Norway said it is shutting down its customer services department in Harstad on 01 January, making 81 workers redundant. In the past two years, the operator said it has had 1 million fewer calls to its hotline, and there are now more than a million users of its Mitt Telenor service application. Sales via the app are rising significantly.
