Telenor Norway suffers 1% dip in revenues and EBITDA, loses 28,000 mobile subscriptions

Telenor said total revenues in Norway in the first quarter of 2019 dipped by 1 percent to NOK 6.25 billion from NOK 6.29 billion a year earlier after a drop in copper-related revenues of around NOK 130 million. As a result, EBITDA likewise fell by 1 percent, to NOK 2.75 billion from NOK 2.77 billion, but the margin was unchanged at 44 percent. There was 20 percent growth in fibre revenues following more deployments, and mobile subscription and traffic revenues increased by 2 percent.
