Telenor Norway said that the electrical and electronics retail chains Elkjop, Lefdal and Power will start offering its Swap system of mobile handset trade-ins on 01 June, instead of selling private customers phones with a Telenor contract commitment. With Swap, telephones come with a 24-month, deposit-free hire purchase contract, but customers have the option of exchanging their mobile once a year for a new one. Swap is available with the Telenor subscriptions Frihet, U18 and Yng.
