Telenor Pakistan adds 319,000 mobile subscribers in Q3

Wednesday 26 October 2016 | 12:47 CET | News
Telenor Pakistan's subscriber base increased by 319,000 during the third quarter. The operator launched 4G services in July in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. Telenor Pakistan ended September with 38.2 million mobile subscribers, up 15 percent year-on-year. ARPU in local currency decreased by 4 percent impacted by the disconnection of unverified SIM cards last year, partly offset by continued growth in data usage and higher incoming international traffic, parent company Telenor reported.
