Telenor Pakistan to pay USD 395 mln for 4G licence

Telenor has been granted the licence for 4G spectrum in the 850 MHz band after being the only bidder, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). Telenor's bid was evaluated and found to be complete in all respects. The licence will be awarded to Telenor at the base price of USD 395 million, in accordance with the schedule.
