Telenor says 10% of Swedes expect gaming to be most popular sport in 10 years by player numbers

Gaming will become Sweden's second-largest sport in terms of participation, said Telenor Sweden, citing a survey it had commissioned from Demoskop. Ten percent of 2,000 respondents believe it will be the most popular sport in a decade. Older people are getting involved, too, with one in five over the age of 65 having watched electronic sport and one in three saying they play themselves.
