Telenor says 57% of young Norwegians prefer online newspapers as source of news but many unwilling to pay

Telenor said a Norstat survey shows that 66 percent of people in Norway aged 18 to 29 years do not have a newspaper subscription and that 59 percent are unwilling to pay for news. Even so, 57 percent say that web papers are their most important news source. Affordability is one of the reasons that Telenor decided to offer access to newspaper Verdens Gang's online service VG+ as an option under its new Yng Goodies range of mobile services, it said.
