Telenor scraps data fees in Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar

Telenor said it has become the first operator in Sweden to scrap mobile data roaming fees for countries outside Europe. It said Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmark are now included in its Telenor Frihet subscription, enabling retail customers to surf abroad using their standard mobile data kitty. It brought in the Telenor Freedom service for the EU and EEA in June 2016.
